Restricted content

Online Safety Act 2021 · Age Assurance Codes
Services publishing restricted material must apply age assurance before an Australian user can access it.
Regulator: eSafety Commissioner
Why do we ask? ▾
The law in Australia requires us to confirm you are an adult before you can view restricted content. We don't do that ourselves:
- You are handed to Daltrey, an independent age-assurance provider.
- Daltrey confirms you are 18 or over with a face and liveness check on your own phone.
- NightShift Studios receives a yes/no result — never your face, ID, name or date of birth.
- The result becomes a reusable credential, so you won't be asked again for 90 days.

Restricted content stays locked until a compliant age assurance event is recorded. Nothing about you was stored.
